Audition Video (4 of 5) - Recordame

A Latin number for you all. I decided I’d break out the electric for this one. I think it’s safe to say I still got it… Big Thanks to everyone who has helped me out with this project and supported me in my latest endeavors.

My School Audition Video (3 0f 5) - “Oleo”

This tune contains the (probably) 2nd most widely used song structure (other than the 12 bar blues) in jazz referred to as Rhythm Changes. It originates from the song “I Got Rhythm” and consists of a 32 bar AABA form.

A little jazz 101 for you all out there so you might be able to do some active listening. And if you already knew all that, then good for you.

Great music rarely happens without…

“Listening. It’s amazing how many great collaborations go to shit when no one is listening.”

Sunset on Cinco De Mayo in Cartersville, GA. No Place I’d rather be than Cartersville, G-A. This town actually has some quality restaurants if you sift through the strip mall madness, and a few sight-seeing attractions too. There are certainly worse places to spend two weeks for job training.
